We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, and any behavioral or wellness data you choose to log, such as sleep, screen time, daily check-ins, mood or cognitive assessments, habits, and other self-reported inputs.

Wearable & Device Data

If you connect a wearable device, we may receive device-generated activity and wellness data strictly with your explicit authorization.

WHOOP and Garmin Integration

Clean Dopamine offers a direct API integration with WHOOP and Garmin. If you choose to connect your WHOOP or Garmin account, we will request access to the following data with your explicit authorization:

• Sleep data – sleep staging, duration, and quality metrics

• Recovery data – recovery score and readiness indicators

• Heart rate & HRV – resting heart rate and heart rate variability

• Strain & activity – daily strain score, workout data, and movement metrics

• Steps & other activity data – daily step count and related movement data

• Other data – any additional wellness or biometric data made available through the APIs that is relevant to your experience in Clean Dopamine

 

Data is accessed only with your explicit permission via authorization and is used solely to provide personalized behavioral-health insights within the Clean Dopamine ecosystem. You may disconnect your WHOOP account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us directly, and we will stop receiving new data from WHOOP upon disconnection.

Other Connected Wearables

Additionally, you may connect other supported wearables (such Apple Watch). In these cases, we may receive heart rate, movement, sleep staging, and other metrics, strictly with your explicit authorization.

Technical Information

We also collect standard technical information such as IP address, device type, and usage or error logs to help maintain security, performance, and reliability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and improve the Clean Dopamine platform

• Deliver personalized behavioral-health insights and track your progress over time

• Support coaching and check-in features

• Analyze aggregated or anonymized data to understand product usage patterns – this de-identified data cannot be used to identify you

• Maintain the security, performance, and reliability of our systems

 

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we never use your information for targeted advertising.

Your data is only shared in the following situations:

• Service Providers: With third-party service providers who help us operate the platform, under strict confidentiality and data-processing agreements.

• Healthcare Providers: With healthcare providers or other professionals only when you explicitly opt in to share your information. Summarized reports, rather than raw data logs, are provided. You control this access, must grant it yourself, and may revoke it at any time.

• Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

 

Wearable-derived data is never shared with any third party without your explicit consent. This includes advertising networks, analytics providers, data brokers, or any other external parties. Such data is used solely to operate the features you have enabled within Clean Dopamine.

We take security seriously and use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted data transmission, secure storage, and restricted access controls. Although no system is perfectly secure, we continuously monitor and update our protections to keep your data safe.

5. Your Rights & Controls

You may, at any time:

• Request access to your data or ask for corrections

• Disconnect your WHOOP account or revoke any other wearable API access

• Revoke provider access or other third-party sharing permissions

• Request deletion of your data

• Request a portable copy of your data

6. Children’s Privacy

Clean Dopamine is intended for users 18 and older. If we become aware of data collected from a minor without proper consent, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy occasionally. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the website or in-app. Continued use of Clean Dopamine following any update means you accept the revised policy.
